What’s your favorite essential oil for autumn? Any recommendations of must-haves? In this week’s Aromatherapy Q & A our students, graduates and tutors share their top oils for this season:

Marie (Diploma Course Student):

My favorite oil is Cubeb (Piper cubeba) as I find it warming and energizing! The smell is spicy and sweet. Excellent properties for respiratory protection. In autumn when it starts to get cold, we need to comfort body and mind! Cubeb is a good candidate.

Shireen (EOP Tutor):

Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora) is my top oil for autumn. It’s indispensible for respiratory conditions and to boost the immune system.

Florence (Diploma Course Graduate):

I love Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) as my sinus allergies need it every morning in autumn!

Susanne (Certificate Course Graduate):

My favorite oil for autumn is Sandalwood (Santalum album). I just love to diffuse this earthy aroma in my bedroom at night while reading a book and enjoying a cup of warm milk with honey.
