This week we start our new series called "Aromatherapy Q&A" interviewing APA tutors, graduates and students so you can learn more about them and get a special insight into our aromatherapy school.
Each week three of our tutors, graduates or students will answer one interesting question from our fans - if you would like to ask a question, just post it on our Facebook timeline and we'll add it to our list!
Our question for this week is:
"What is your advice for aspiring aromatherapists?"
1. Wynnie Ng, APA Graduate and Massage Tutor, Holistic Aromatherapist, Certified ISBT Bowen Therapist and Body Talk Access practitioner:
"Be committed to learn the trade. Continue to deepen & expand the knowledge and skills and experience."
"As aromatherapists, we cannot only benefit ourselves, our friends and family, but we can also work for what we enjoy, which is the biggest bonus for life."
3. Shireen Calucin, APA Essential Oil Pharmacy Tutor and Internationally Qualified Holistic Aromatherapist specializing in prescriptive blending for skincare, natural perfumery and animal care:
"Commitment, passion, curiosity are key as well as a genuine interest in people and nature. Take some short aromatherapy introductory courses first before you commit to a full diploma course. If you love what you do the rest will follow."
